Nutcracker Mini Model Dec 2011
LEGO stores have been holding a Mini Model build event in LEGO stores every month. This started in 2009 and its has been held throughout this year. This event is normally held on the first week of every month and what happens is LEGO fans can learn how to build a specific mini model of that month in store and take it home for free. Event is however 0pen to kids aged 6 to 14 year olds only. The dates vary from month to month but they are normally announced in advance so parents can put the date in your diaries and take the little ones along for this event.
This month event takes place on the 1st of Dec 2011 at 4pm if you live in the UK and Germany and 6th of Dec. 2011 if you live in the US and starts at 5pm in a LEGO Store near you!
A good event to help the little ones explore their creativity and they will love being out playing in a LEGO store. This month’s mini model build is the LEGO Nutcracker – image above and below.
Kids can also learn how to build this model from the comfort of their homes by following the instructions available via download from LEGO or the link below if you can’t make it to a LEGO shop or there isn’t one near where you live. If you can’t make it to your local LEGO store for some reason, you can always build the Mini Model at home because LEGO posts the instructions online and you can use the pieces you have or order what you need from LEGO Pick a Brick Store.
